Real Estate attorney Michael J. McLaughlin of McLaughlin Sanchez LLP, a San Francisco-based boutique real estate firm, will present on issues involving California’s new statewide rent control law (Assembly Bill 1482, California’s Tenant Protect Act of 2019). This seminar will provide use and guidance on compliance with California’s rent control laws regarding just cause evictions, rent caps and a pragmatic discussion of what real estate attorneys and professionals in San Mateo County would need to know and how to effectively advise clients, whether property owners, tenants and the like of issues involving rent control matters.

This seminar will provide attorneys with 1 hour of general MCLE credit and will be important for both attorneys and other professionals who routinely practice before the San Mateo County Superior Courts.
