Please join the Family Law Section on Friday, July 13, 2018, for a presentation on OurFamilyWizard by Matthew Havrevold.

Discover communication technology designed specifically for family courts that reduces many of the challenges found in high conflict custody cases. OurFamilyWizard (OFW) provides safe, secure, and easy to use tools for families and family law professionals alike. Using this technology will reduce the “he said/she said,” and the likelihood of custody cases unnecessarily coming back into the courtroom. Family law judges, attorneys, and family professionals across the United States and Canada are ordering or stipulating that parents use the transparent and accountable features of OFW.

This presentation will advise family law professionals of communication technology ordered by the court in high conflict custody and visitation matters. Professionals will learn how they can stay informed of co-parent communication through the use of online tools. Each attendee will receive order language currently used to specify parent and professional use of OFW, as well as a full demonstration of the site’s features. Come learn about the tools for parents, Judges, and other family law professionals that are increasing the transparency in family communication.

Three Learning Objectives

  1. Familiarize all parties with the online tools Judges are ordering parents to use for communicating their shared parenting needs.
  2. Recognize documents derived from the website that may be presented as evidence in the courtroom.
  3. Learn how special masters, minor’s counsel, mediators, and other professionals may work with and assess family needs utilizing these tools.
