Please join SMCBA for our 2022 Meet and Greet on Tuesday, March 22, 2022. All attorneys new to the practice of law in San Mateo County are invited to attend the our annual Meet and Greet. Meet with judges, District Attorneys, local practitioners, and court staff. Learn about procedural “dos and dont’s”, hear a brief presentation by supervising judges and join in an informal question and answer. This is a great opportunity you do not want to miss!

We will have welcome remarks from the San Mateo County Bar Association, various bench officers, and local legal organizations, followed by a Q&A sessions with a judges panel.

Cost: No cost for members.

Consistent with our prior virtual presentations that have qualified for MCLE credit, all attendees must register online prior to this in person event. Online registration will close on the morning of the event.

Our speakers, Jason E. Fellner, Esq. a California Certified Legal Malpractice Attorney and Shareholder of Murphy, Pearson, Bradley & Feeney along with colleague Kevin Cardona, Esq.  will discuss and provide practical steps to avoid legal malpractice exposure and address new ethical issues that have surfaced for lawyers in a post-Covid-19 world.

You will receive 1 hour of Legal Ethics MCLE credit for attending this event.

Cost: $20 for Labor & Employment members and $30 for non-section members.

Cancellations must be received at least 48 hours prior to the event for a full refund of the registration fee. If you do not cancel within 48 hours or do not show up to the event, you will be charged the full amount.
