The State of the Court Meeting w/ San Mateo County Court Leadership

Please join the San Mateo County Superior Court and the San Mateo County Bar Association on Thursday, July 30, 2020 at 12:15pm for a presentation by Honorable Jonathan Karesh, Presiding Judge, Honorable Leland Davis III, Assistant Presiding Judge, and Honorable Nancy Fineman, Civil Law & Motion Judge for a state of the court address.

Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions in advance. Please send your questions to email@example.com with the subject line “7/30/2020 Court Event Advanced Questions” no later than Friday, July 24, 2020. All attendees must register online prior to the event.
This event qualifies for 1 hour General MCLE credit. Due to continued Shelter-in-Place restrictions, this event will be a brown bag event and will be hosted via Zoom.
Cost: Free for all SMCBA members and non-members who register in advance through the SMCBA website. However, non-members who wish to obtain MCLE credit must pay $10.
Cancellations must be received at least 48 hours prior to the event for a full refund of the registration fee. If you do not cancel within 48 hours or do not show up to the event, you will be charged the full amount.
The Women Lawyers’ Section will honor the San Mateo County Bench at their Annual Holiday Judges’ Luncheon on Thursday, December 5, 2019 from 12:00pm to 1:30pm at Angelica’s in Redwood City. The San Mateo County Women Lawyers’ Section Educational Foundation will be holding its annual raffle.
Please select from one of the following entrees:
- Grilled New York Steak with peppercorn sauce, and served with roasted potatoes, and vegetables(chef’s choice) (gluten free and dairy free);
- Pan-Seared Salmon with lemon dill sauce, served with roasted potatoes, and grilled vegetables (chef’s choice) (gluten free);
- Roasted Artichoke with spinach in sweet red pepper pasta ravioli, grilled zucchini, baby carrots, red onions, asparagus, and cherry tomatoes (vegetarian and vegan).
Cost: $65 per person.

The Women Lawyers’ Section will honor the San Mateo County Bench at their annual Spring Judges’ Luncheon. The luncheon will be held at noon on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at Angelica’s in Redwood City. During the luncheon, the Elinor Falvey Award will be presented to Amanda L. Riddle, Esq., of Corey, Luzaich, de Ghetaldi & Riddle LLP, for her excellent service to women in our community.
Cost: $65 per person.
